The 20th Collective Study Session of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee emphasised the need to "uphold self-reliance, prioritise application-driven development, and promote healthy, orderly advancement of artificial intelligence." By strengthening fundamental research and focusing on breakthroughs in core technologies—such as high-end chips and foundational software—China aims to build an autonomous, secure, and collaborative AI infrastructure system. This critical directive has charted the course for synergistic development in China's AI and Xinchuang (Information Technology Application Innovation) industries.
At the end of 2024, Andon Studio, in collaboration with the Xinchuang Working Committee of Disaster Backup Alliance, launched its annual call for outstanding Xinchuang case studies and solutions. This marks the third edition of the initiative, following successful campaigns in 2022 and 2023, jointly organised by “Xinchuang Zongheng”, “XConsultancy”, “New Infrastructure Development” Wechat official account, and “Xinchuang Zongheng” community.
To further amplify the impact of the "Annual Xinchuang Solutions Selection," this year's event was co-hosted by Andon Studio and the Xinchuang Working Committee of Disaster Backup Alliance. It also received strong support from co-organisers including the Shanghai Xinchuang Integrated Service Centre, Sichuan Xinchuang Industry Alliance, Quanzhou Xinchuang Ecological Service Centre, and the Xinchuang Zongheng Think Tank (A Research Institute for IT Application Innovation Ecosystem).
After a rigorous 40-day evaluation period, the "2024 Top 10 Xinchuang Platform Software Brands" were recently announced.

*Lianzhi Technology’s independently developed high performance computing (HPC) cluster management platform, CHESS, secured second place in the prestigious ranking.

The CHESS platform seamlessly integrates diverse HPC applications with AI workflows—including dataset management, data annotation, model development and training, and inference—while supporting both traditional SLURM job scheduling and Kubernetes container orchestration. This unified computing platform addresses resource allocation and workload scheduling across HPC and AI tasks, enabling centralised management, efficient utilisation, and synergistic operation of heterogeneous supercomputing and intelligent computing resources. Serving sectors such as fundamental scientific research, public services, meteorological and marine industries, petroleum and petrochemical sectors, aerospace, military and defence, automotive manufacturing, semiconductor design, life sciences, and AI, CHESS helps educational, governmental, and corporate users streamline heterogeneous cluster deployment, eliminate software performance bottlenecks, and reduce the high costs and complexities of cluster management and maintenance—ensuring secure, stable operations.

In the Xinchuang domain, Lianzhi Technology actively advances domestic IT innovation. The CHESS platform is fully compatible with domestic chips, servers, operation systems, and other hardware/software products, meeting the demand for locally developed HPC solutions across industries and accelerating the growth of China’s Xinchuang ecosystem. Moving forward, Lianzhi Technology will co-develop and launch industry-specific solutions, and energise Xinchuang development in the high performance computing field.
